This zine draws its inspiration from the timeless text, Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke. Within its pages, selected poems discuss profound themes of transformation, inspiration, transition, and the essence of creativity. To capture the essence of these concepts, I crafted original drawings to serve as the visual narrative throughout the zine. There is a sense of graphic elements juxtaposed against more dynamic, hand-created elements throughout the entire piece to highlight diversity and moments of tension. Each illustration reflects the sentiments and emotions conveyed in Rilke's words, offering readers a captivating visual journey intertwined with the poetic essence of the text.
